Yelp Seattle

Super comfort food and very pleasant people working here. I really like this place and try to stop by for lunch as often as I can. A real local treasure. It doesn't stand out so you have to really look for it but it is definitely worth it.
Not fancy, just very comforting and authentic.

Patty and her team catered our wedding reception and it was fabulous!! We had so many compliments on the food and the attentive service. We highly recommend Blue Willow Catering for any of your catering needs. Check out the web site for menu ideas and be sure to stop by the luncheonette. Easy to work with, great rates, outstanding food!!
Thanks for everything Blue Willow!

Blue Willow is the little known caterer over in West Seattle. Patty is the owner and does much of the cooking herself. She has a ton of experience and really takes pride in her product. The food is so delicious! She'll work with you if you are trying to stay within a certain budget.
Even better, a couple years ago she opened a luncheonette that is open 11am-2pm Tuesday through Friday. BEST DEAL in town, and some of the locals know it... it's often packed during lunch hours. They serve freshly made soups, grilled sandwiches and there is always a lunch special. DEEELISH!!

A Luncheonette Review:
I had a bowl of lentil soup, an extremely good value. Tasty, satisfying. This spot is definitely going in to the rotation for West Seattle lunch spots for me.
Desserts looked delish...I'll try one next time I stop in.

Just the right place for lunch!
The atmosphere is peaceful, the perfect place to get caught up with an old friend for lunch. The daily selections are interesting and varied, making a selection can be challenging. The soups are flavorful, salads unique, sandwiches thick with fresh ingredients but I often end up with the quiche. Although the desserts look compelling, i have never been hungry enough to try one.

Delicious home cooked food just like grandma used make!
If you are lucky enough to be in West Seattle Tuesday - Friday between 11 and 2:30 you too can enjoy going back to a simpler time when soups were created from scratch, sandwiches were made to order from the freshest ingredients and quiches filled with cheese and broccoli were brought out fresh from the oven. Been a while since you've tasted old fashioned bread pudding smothered with caramel sauce and whipped cream? Then you need to try Blue Willow.

Project Wedding

Patty offers delicious, high quality food at very reasonable prices. Our food was spectacular and all of our guests commented on how good it was. Patty chose a menu for us that met all of our needs and she used fresh, local ingredients and paired the meal with delicious Washington wines. I highly recommend her food.

Blue Willow’s food was absolutely amazing. Patty, the chef, gave myself, my husband, my mom, my sister and my wedding planner a private tasting that allowed us to taste the exact menu we had for our wedding. This was very helpful because we knew what to expect. We had a family style dinner where all the food was served on platters instead of individual plates. Some quotes we got were inflated because of the style in which we wanted to serve the food but Patty worked with us and gave us a reasonable price. At times it was difficult for our wedding planner to get in touch with Patty so that made it somewhat challenging. Over all though, it was a positive experience and I would highly recommended the food!

I took my mom to the Blue Willow Catering & Luncheonette for Mother's Day last year for high tea. It was great! They were so busy that day with all of the moms, but my mom felt like she was the guest of honor. The attention to details is incredible - from the table linens, to the napkins, flatwear and flowers. The finger sandwiches and deserts were delicious and the tea pairings perfect.

Blue Willow Luncheonette is a great lunch spot in West Seattle. It's only open Tues. thru Fri for lunch, but it's very reasonably priced and has delicious food. There are daily specials like quiche, sandwiches, salads, and soups, as well as a bakery case of homemade cookies and other treats. It's very cozy, and it's decorated with old antiques and china that the owner has collected.

Perfect for Lunch!
I have been looking for a cute little lunch place close to my workplace in SODO/ West Seattle. This is IT! Quiches, salads, sandwiches...and they were nice and quick. 2 cute tables out in the sun made it even better (oh and the affordable prices)
I can just go on and on...but it was great!

Great Lunch Spot
Wonderful light lunches and fast service. One of the best places to stop for a quick lunch if you work on Harbor Island or in Sodo.
